Sharon and Stephen approached me to refresh the identity for their building design business Tessra. They needed it to better reflect their audience and help them stand out in a very competitive industry.

My first question for Sharon was where does the name Tessra come from? She answered that it is a variation of the spelling tessera which is an individual tile, usually formed in the shape of a cube, used in creating a mosaic. I loved this analogy for her role as a building designer - a singular piece in a much larger picture.
